Srinagar, Sept 28: In the ongoing Green Willow Inter Village Cricket Championship Palhallan 2020, Ghat Palhallan cruised it’s way into final of the tournament, defeating Green Sports Palhallan by nine wicket in the semifinal played on Monday.
Earlier Ghat Palhallan skipper won the toss & decided to bowl first. The decision proved right as his bowlers responded positively by reducing top 3 batsman quickly. Green Sports Palhallan’s batsman struggled to play their shots throughout the innings hence managed to score only 105/4 in allotted 20 overs. Imtiyaz , Umar , Ali Mohd & Naseer took 1 wicket each for GP . Shabir Ah scored 28 runs for GSP while as Yousuf also added 22 runs .
In reply , Ghat Palhallan batsman started thrashing bowlers of Green Sports Palhallan right from the go. Umar & Farooq made it one side game for Ghat Palhallan scoring by scoring 51 & 42 respectively . Tariq dismissed Omar on 51 runs.
Omar Dar was adjudged Man of the match for 51 run knock.
