Srinagar, Oct 2: The jersey of Golden Brands Cricket Club was launched in a star studded function at Spice Multi Cuisine Restaurant on Thursday.
The jersey was launched by former Rani trophy cricketer Samiullah Beigh, former Ranji Trophy selector Idrees Gandroo, former Mr Kashmir Tariq Ahmed Tenga, current Ranji Trophy cricketer Mehjoor Ali, journalist Tajamul and Asif Rasheed owner of Golden Brands.
During this event, all these celebrities gave a lot of encouragement to the youth of this team, and also expressed many things, The importance of cricket as well as fitness was explained to the players of this Club in this event, all these guests taught these young players many skills along with their best abilities, a statement said.
Along with these guests, players from many other clubs were also present, including GMCC Captain Haroon Rashid, GMCC Opener Arsalan Bazaz, Zohra Tigers Captain Irfan Ahmed and bodybuilding Akhtar Ajaz were also present.
All of these guests were awarded Lifetime Achievement Awards by Golden Brands during the players’ uniforms, and the event was commemorated.
On the occasion Tariq Ahmed Tenga also announced to give Rs. 30,000 as a gift.
