Friends Eleven Veeri won the final match of Veerian Premier League 2018 by defeating Astanpura Cricket Club today at Tarbal ground Veeri Anantnag.
Earlier toss was won by the Friends 11 Veeri and elected to bat first. Batting first Friends Eleven scored the total of 112 runs in 18 overs and in reply the Astanpura Cricket Club got all out at the score of 94.
Friends 11 became the champion team of the Tournament with this 18 run win. Mohd Amir was decleared as the man of the match for his 5 wkts haul. Adil Rashid of ACC was declared as the man of the Tournament for his over all performences in the whole tournament.
Zeeshan Bhat got the prize of emerging player of the tournament and Bilal Bhat was given a Momento of being a regular spectator and a true supporter of the game.
On the final award ceremony Farooq Ahmad Dar, Mubashir Veeri, Nazir Mama, Bashir Kamaal, Dr Abdul Wahid, Dr. Riyaz Veeri, Tariq Makbool, Dr. Bilal Parrey, Raja Wakar and others were the invited guests, who gave away the Trophies and Medals to the teams and players. A total of 16 teams from south Kashmir Participated in the tournament. The tournament was played at Tarbal Ground Veeri.
