For Hardik Pandya deal Mumbai Indians paid Gujarat Titans Rs 100 Crore Transfer fee: Report claims

Srinagar: The report that has sent shock waves across cricket World economics, it has been claimed that Mumbai Indians paid a whopping Rs 100 Crores as transfer fee to Gujarat Titans for Hardik Pandya’s IPL trade.

Days before IPL 2024 Auction, Mumbai Indians secured services of Hardik Pandya from Gujarat Titans in a trade deal for Rs 15 Crores.Pandya was also named the Mumbai Indians captain replacing Rohit Sharma.
Pandya played for Mumbai Indians from 2015 to 2021 before he shifted base to Gujarat Titans. Pandya lead Gujarat to their maiden IPL title in 2022 and finished runners-up in the next year.

However, now a report in Indian Express has made a huge claim that Mumbai Indians paid a huge transfer fee for Pandya which only IPL knows.
And it could be no less than Rs 100 crore. Feels like big European football transfers, isn’t that?
There is no official confirmation on the deal and it has been the case with IPL since its beginning.
Gujarat Titans are owned by CVC Capitals which paid Rs 5625 crores to BCCI to be a part of the IPL for 10 years. The earnings from the Pandya trade deal will be made visible on the CVC Capitals balance sheet at the end of this financial year which could help them to get a spike in the company’s valuation.
