Sopore, July 18: Affarwat-XI Sports Club Thindima, Kriri, Baramulla thrashed Shining Star Sopore by 7 Wickets in the match of 2nd FFT Championship here at Sheikhul Alam Sports Ground Tarzoo Sopore.
Bating first Shining Star posted respectable total of 165 runs on the board. Aadil Zahoor Scored 61 and Pervaiz Reshi made 54 runs. For Affarwat XI, SC Shahid took 3 Wickets.
In reply Affarwat XI managed to chase the target of 166 runs with 4 balls to spare. Aabid and Aadil got off to a flying start as both the openers put 64 runs. Maqsood 20 runs Aadil 31 Wahid Bashir 24, Saqib Sharif 25 not out were the main contributors for Affarwat XI Saqib and Wahid played sensibly and took the Affarwat home with only losing 3 wickets.
Aabid was declared man of the match for his 29 ball 54 runs. For SS, Zahoor took 2 Wickets.
