Srinagar: starting season on confident note, Lone Star Kashmir FC, first I-league level club of valley, held Feteh Hyderabad AFC to a goalless draw in its first match of the DSK International Cup at Pune on Thursday.

Kashmir FC started well in the first half holding most of possession displaying both attacking and defensive play at same time.

Kashmir FC that comprise mostly of local talent from Kashmir and few Indian players and no foreign players who were neutralized by the Kashmir Fc players.

As second half started the Kashmir FC being reduced to 10 players ,played with more grit and didn’t allow the opponents to take advantage of reduced number of players. The keper made some decent saves Kashmir Fc on offence also created some close chances.p_20161110_180007

Among Kashmiri FC players skipper Suhail Ahmed led the team with vital contributions from defender Basalat, Javaid, Tafeem, in midfield Ubaid Haroon and Bilal Sofi,Waris Amin and striker Iffam.

After hard fought 90-minutes both teams settled for draw.  Kashmir FC will play their next match against hosts DSK Shivagian.
