Drew McIntyre Blasts WWE Ahead of Title Match: “I’m Done Getting Screwed Over”

New York: WWE superstar Drew McIntyre isn’t holding back anymore. As he prepares for his Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1, the Scottish Warrior has accused WWE of repeatedly “screwing” him out of major victories.

Speaking to the Edinburgh News, McIntyre expressed growing frustration over controversial officiating and constant outside interference that have cost him title opportunities in the past.

“I’m feeling very confident. At the same time, I was confident before our last match,” McIntyre said. “Something always seems to get in the way—outside forces getting me screwed. There was even a match where the referee ignored an eight-count pin. It’s ridiculous.”

After years of near-misses and political setbacks, McIntyre insists this time will be different.

“I have a game plan,” he declared. “I want the better man to win—not the one who plays politics best, or the one who kisses ass best.”

The two-time WWE Champion heads into this weekend’s high-stakes main event not just looking for gold, but vindication. McIntyre believes it’s time to prove that determination and talent—not favoritism—define true champions.

“I’m done keeping quiet,” McIntyre said. “This time, it’s about more than just a title—it’s about exposing the system.”

With emotions running high and his back against the wall, Drew McIntyre’s latest battle with Cody Rhodes could be more than a championship match—it might just be a reckoning for WWE’s so-called “Chosen Ones.”
