Member Parliament, Dr Farooq Abdullah on Saturday felicitated Asian Games-2018 bronze medallist in Wushu, Bhanu Pratap Singh.
Bhanu who on an invitation from Dr Abdullah visited his Bhatindi residence of Dr Farooq expressed his gratitude to Dr Abdullah and Omar Abdullah for being a constant course of support to him.
Later while complimenting the champion player for bringing laurels for the Country, Dr Abduallh wished him good luck for the forthcoming World Cup championship.
“ I shall soon also be taking up the matter of Bhanu’s appointment in the J&K Police with the Governor and DGP,” Dr Abdullah said.
Vice President of the J&K Wushu Association Ranjeet Kalra, prominent sportspersons of the State were also present during the felicitation ceremony.
