Srinagar, December 13: Downtown Heroes FC have been knocked out of 13th Badosa Cup in Assam after suffering 3-0 defeat in the quaterfinal.
In the match played at Badosa Assam on Monday, December 13, Downtown Heroes FC were thrashed by NESU Manipur by 3-0 goals. It was disappointing performance from the side that was vying for second I-League place against local side like NESU Manipur.
With this defeat Downtown Heroes FC have been knocked out of the tournament .
Earlier in its first match of the event, Downtown Heroes FC beat CCFC by 2-1 goals to book place in quaterfinal. Adeel and Moomin were the scorers for Downtown Heroes FC.
