Srinagar, December 11: Downtown Heroes FC , a Srinagar based football club kick started its campaign in 13th Badosa Cup with win at Badosa Assam on December 11 , Saturday.
In its first match of the tournament, Downtown Heroes FC defeated CCFC by 2-1 goals. Adeel and Moomin were the scorers for Downtown Heroes FC. With this win Downtown Heroes FC have booked place in quaterfinal of the tournament.
“It is unbelievable to get a win in our first outside tour. It was a good, professional performance,” said Team Manager Javaid Ahmed.
“The win would boost the morale of the team ahead of quarterfinal clash,” he added.
