District Anantnag SQAY championship held

Anantnag: The 24th SQAY District Anantnag Championship was held at Townhall  Anantnag  on July 26th and 27th. The event was organized by the District SQAY Association Anantnag and in it150 players from the district participated.

SQAY, a captivating and traditional Kashmiri martial art form, showcased its true essence at this championship. With an emphasis on technique, agility, and discipline, the participants enthralled the spectators with their mesmerizing performances. The event proved to be a testament to the growing popularity and significance of martial arts in the region, statement said.

The closing ceremony of the Championship witnessed the felicitation of the exceptional talents who demonstrated exceptional skills and sportsmanship. 

The 50 gifted players were handpicked to represent the district at the forthcoming State level championship.
