Baramulla, January 30: Aadil Mir shines yet again for Delina XI as they beat Khanpora Worriers in a nail-biting encounter to qualify for semi-finals of Diamond Cup.
Winning the toss, Khanpora elected to bat first and were restricted to only 72/9 in alloted 10 overs. Umar Malla was the top-scorer with 47 runs while as Asif Majeed took 3 wickets and Aadil Mir took 2 wickets for Delina 11.
In response, Delina XI lost quick wickets at start but managed to cross the line in the last over(74/6 in 9.1 overs). Aadil Mir top-scored with 28 runs while as Zubair scored unbeaten 13 runs for Delina. Tawqeer took 2 wickets for Khanpora Worriers.
Aadil Mir was adjudged as player of the match for his all-round performance. Delina XI will now play the semi-final on Wednesday.
