Srinagar, Febuary 28: The matches of 29th Annual football championship restarted at Synthetic Turf TRC ground Srinagar on Monday.
Two matches were played today, the Ist match was played between DFA Bandipora and DFA Zone Pampore. DFA Bandipora defeated Zone Pampore by 4 goals to two goals. The 2nd match was played between DFA Baramulla and DFA Kulgam. DFA Baramulla defeated DFA Kulgam by 3-2 goals. Young Turks of DFA Kulgam exhibited quality football and fought to the last minute of the game.
Peer Sirajudin, Vice President North Zone, JKFA was the Chief Guest on the occasion & he was introduced with both the teams. The Championship is organized by J&K Football Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
