The owners of Downtown Champions Cricket League on Monday kick-started the first Downtown knockout football tourney at Islamia College Ground, Hawal.
In the exhibition match Royal Sports Hawal trounced State Football Academy by 1-0.
The lone goal was scored by Aqib Islam, who was later named as player of the match.
The CEO of the tourney is Naseer Bhat while as Feroz Naqash is chief organiser and Raqib Baba General Secretary.
The schedule for tomorrow is, Fortview FC vs Miraj FC.
