Srinagar: For the first time in six years the superstar batter Virat Kohli bowled in ODI during ongoing India vs Bangladesh World Cup 2023 match in Pune.
Hardik Pandya got inured during the 9th over. Even after physio came to check upon him, Hardik was looking uncomfortable and Virat Kohli came to bowl the remaining three bowls.
Litton Das had played a straight and Hardik tried to stop it with his right leg after which he looked really uncomfortable and couldn’t continue. Virat Kohli had to step in to complete the over.
This was the first time since 2017 that Virat showed his bowling avatar. He already has four wickets in the 50-over format with an economy of 6.21. Virat’s best bowling figures in ODIs are 1 wicket for 15 runs that he took against South Africa back in 2013.
