Srinagar, January 13: Amid COVID-19 surge in Jammu and Kashmir , the Winter Games Association of J&K (WGAJK) has postponed all its upcoming Ski and Snowboarding events.
In a statement issued WGAJK has said that it is postponing its scheduled events owing to unavoidable circumstances.
“All the competitions of Alpine, snowboard and Nordic events for junior and seniors boys and girls for north .south and central districts, which were scheduled to be held at Gulmarg and Pahalgam venues on 17,18 and 20 th of January 2022,are hereby postponed due to unavoidable circumstances,” WGAJK statement issued by President Mohammad Abbas Wani said.
“Further the selection trials of same events for senior and junior men and women categories scheduled to be held on 28, 29 and 30 th January 2022 at Gulmarg,are also postponed and the new dates for the same shall be published separately,” it added
