Sahil Shafi is an opening batsman who scored a few 40+run cameos in the trial matches, following which, he found a place in 25-member T20 probable list. He plays for Amar Singh Cricket Club and has formidable past numbers.
However, several people have raised questions about his fitness, which he surely needs to prove in the ongoing trial camp.
The right-handed batsman would also have to do exceptionally well to get a go as he would be in competition with Jatin Wadhwan and Khajuria for that opening slot.
