Srinagar, Sep 8: The Chinar Shadow knockout Football Tournment kicked off at kKhadermoh village Pulwama on Monday.
The tournment is sponsored by Jammu Kashmir Social Workers Committee & J&K Sports Academy for Specially Abled Person and in collaboration with District Football Association Pulwama .
The tournment was inaugurated by Nodal Officer of District Social Welfare Dept, in presence of District Sports Officer YSS, Pulwama and Chairman JKSASSAP (trust). Other eminent and distinguished guest present were Abdul Majeed Kakroo (Former Captain of Indian Football Team) , Fayaz Ahmad Sofi ,President DFA Srinagar, Bilal Ahmad Panjabi, Assr. Gen. Secretary JKFA, and other members of Jammu Kashmir Football Association and Officials of DFA Pulwama. The Inaugral match was played between FC Pulwama and Khadermoh Football Club, with F C Pulwama prevailing with a scoreline of 3-2 in a thrilling end to end game.
