The all-round performance by Omer helped Dalgate Reds beat Shakeel-XI by 58 runs in the match of the Champions Trophy at TRC Ground on October 2. With this win Dalgate Reds booked place in the quarterfinal of the event.
Earlier after winning the toss Dalgate Reds scored 189/7 in 30 overs. Younis and Abid with 46 runs Omer with 33 and Azad with 30 were highest scorers for them. For Shakeel-XI, Muzafar and Sameer took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Shakeel-XI got all out for 131 in 25.2 overs. Owais with 32 and Muzafar with 30 were highest scorers for them.
For Dalgate Reds, Imtiyaz took 4-wickets while as Aamir, Omer and Javaid took 2 wickets each. Omer was awarded man of the match
