Overnight unbeaten batsman Services Captain dashed J&K hopes of win by playing aggressively obn the fourth morning of the Ranji Trophy match at Delhi on Saturday.
Services needed only 38 runs to win and Paliwal assured that they get to the target as quickly as possible. Services achieved target within half hour of the pay on fourth day and registered an emphatic win over J&K who had got back into game owing to all-round brilliance of their skipper Parvez Rasool.
Services won by five wickets with no wicket falling on fourth day. Paliwal remained notout on 43. Being unbetean on 16 from 58 overnight. Paliwal scored 27 off 16 balls on Saturday morning. Services got required 30 runs in mere 4.2 overs. They got six points from match.
J&K had scored 95 runs in first inning and Services responded to that by 252. Parvez Rasool took eight wickets in that inning. In second J&K scored 261 runs owing to 115 run knock by Parvez. Services requiring 104 runs to win scored 107/5 to win the match.
