Srinagar, November 1: International watersports coach of Kashmir Bilquis Mir on Sunday felicitated the solo cyclist of Madhya Pradesh Bhagwan Singh for successfully completing solo cycling event from Bhopal to Kargil.
Bhagwan Singh in Sunday returned to Srinagar after completing his cycling journey upto Kargil.
Hailing from Gwalior, Bhagwan Singh climbed Mount Everest on May 19,2016 , becoming the first civilian climber from Madhya Pradesh to achieve the feat.
Previously he has cycled Manali to Leh, Kyllu Manali, Leh Khardungla, Bhopal to Gwalior.
While felicitating Bhagwan Singh with shawl, Bilquis Mir termed him a great athlete who has achieved lot of things due to his will power and determination.
She said that it is easy to say from Srinagar to Kargil and back on cycle, but only a person who has done it knows what it takes to do that.
