Srinagar: Australian T20 league, Big Bash T20 is set for historic players draft and Pakistan cricket team’s star trio Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Afridi have been included in the process.
According to reports by Australian media the draft for the upcoming edition of Big Bash League will commence on August 28 as Melbourne Renegades will take their first pick.
Babar Azam currently sits on top of the ICC Rankings while wicket-keeper batter Mohammad Rizwan is ranked second on the ICC T20I rankings. As per reports in Australia media the trio have been made part of the historic draft.
The BBL draft has already announced the likes of T20 veteran including Rashid Khan, Kieron Pollard, and Dwayne Bravo.
Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan have already played in the BBL previously. Fakhar Zaman has been a part of the BBL last season, where he played a few matches for Brisbane Heat.
The draft will be hosted by Fox Cricket’s Adam Gilchrist, Michael Hussey, Darren Lehmann, Kath Loughnan, and Mark Howard on August 28.
