Seer Sopore, March 20: In the fifth pre-quarter final match of the ongoing Big Bash Cup Seer, Lover Boys Delina defeated Rising Star Sopore comfortably by 7 wickets.
Batting first, Rising Star Sopore were restricted to only 120/8 in alloted 18 overs. Tanveer Seero top scored with 43 runs and Asif added 20 runs to his name. Irshad Hussain was the wrecker-in-cheif for Lover Boys as he scalped 4 wickets while as Rahi and Meesum took 2 wickets each.
In response, Lover Boys Delina easily chased down the target in the 15th over loosing only 3 wickets (121/3 in 14.3 overs). Irfan scored 44 runs while as Asim Hussain played a brisk knock of 35* runs of just 9 balls. Aadil Malik took 2 wicket for Sopore.
Irshad Hussain was declared as player of the match for his brilliant bowling spell.
