Srinagar , October 02: Abid Lefty shined with the ball taking four wickets while as Waheed Bashir scored valuable 42 runs as Affarwat-XI won match of Big Bash Championship Baramulla at Baramulla on Saturday, October 2.
In the match Affarwat-XI Sports Club beat Rising Star Salamabad by 4 wickets at Jehlum Stadium Baramulla.
Rising Star skipper won the toss and chose to bat first but Affarwat-XI Sports Club bowlers restricted them to 103 for 9 in alloted 18 overs.Captain Irfaaq Khan picked up 3 wickets for Affarwat-XI while Taimoor took 2 and Yaqoob 1 wicket .
In reply Affarwat-XI Sports Club lost their first 5 wickets on just 39 runs . Then it was Waheed Bashir ,who carried Affarwat-XI Sports Club to victory ,remaining not out on 42 runs off 34 balls while Saqib Wani made 12 runs.
Affarwat won the match by 4 wickets.Abid Lefty was adjudged as player of the match for his brilliant bowling figures.
