Bhaderkali CC, SCC register thrilling victories in KPPL Edition-III


Jammu, Dec 13: Bhaderkali Cricket Club and Tekpur Mata Cricket Club today registered thrilling victories over their rivals in the ongoing Kashmiri Pandit Premier League (KPPL) Edition-III, being organised by Lalitaditya Education, Sports and Health Organisation, under the patronage of its President, Anil Bhat and overall supervision of Ankur Bagati and Ashish Kachroo at KC Sports Club ground, here.

In the first match played today, Bhaderkali Cricket Club got the better of TM Cricket Club in an exciting contest by a narrow margin of 5 runs.
Batting first, Bhaderkali Cricket Club scored a modest total of 130 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Sunil Jalla top scored with 33 runs off 32 balls, studded with 4 fours, while Ronak contributed 24 runs to the total.
Sunny took 3 wickets for Bhaderkali Cricket Club by conceding 21 runs in his 4 overs.
In reply, TM Cricket Club managed to score 125 runs to lose the match by a narrow of 5 runs. Rohit Raina top scored with 52 runs off 52 balls with 3 fours and one six.
For Bhaderkali Cricket Club, Vinod Ji was the pick of the bowlers who took 4 wickets by conceding 27 runs in his 4 overs. He was declared as the man of the match for his brilliant bowling display.

In another match, SCC prevailed over Ikvat Cricket Club in a thrilling contest via super over.
Batting first, SCC scored a modest total of 134 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Rajesh Khatri top scored with 39 runs off 44 balls, studded with 3 fours.
For Ikvat Cricket Club, Sunny Mattoo was the wrecker-in-chief who took 4 wickets by giving away 26 runs in 4 overs.
In reply, Ikvat Cricket Club also scored 130 runs in 20 overs which resulted to the super over wherein SCC emerged winner. Amit Bindroo and Akshay Matas contributed 35 and unbeaten 22 runs tothe total respectively.

For SCC, Vikas Dhar and Amit Wali took 2 wickets each. Amit Wali was adjudged as the man of the match for his magnificent all-round show. Sports Presenter Kirti Dhar, Managing Director Sports India JK was the chief guest in post match presentation, who honoured man of the match awardees.
