Srinagar: Former Pakistan cricketer Rashid Latif has suggested Babar Azam to step down from Pakistan cricket team captaincy if he is getting influenced in his decision making.
“My advice to Babar is to step down from captaincy if someone tries to influence him from outside,” he said on his YouTube channel Caught Behind.
Babar has been captain of Pakistan side since 2019. He has led team to World T20 Semifinals and finals.
Babar’s latest Test assignment was against Sri Lanka and the men in green emerged victorious in the two-match Test series, securing high-quality victories at both Galle and Colombo.
