“Babar Azam keeping himself in the game at the non-striker’s end…”

Srinagar: On the first day of the four day Test between Pakistan and Australia PM-XI in Canberra, there were some interesting moment with one involving Babar Azam that has made the headlines.

The day kicked off with the opening batsman, Imam-ul-Haq, facing a challenging situation on the crease. In an over delivered by Jordan Buckingham, Imam not only failed to register any runs but also lost his wicket, managing a mere 9 runs off 24 deliveries before his dismissal.

But the moment that everyone is talking about is when Shan Masood played a delivery from Webster, hitting the ball down the ground.
As the ball passed by the non-striker, Babar Azam, he playfully feigned an attempt to collect it with his hands, even though the ball was slightly out of reach.

Cricket Australia offered a humorous comment on the incident involving former Pakistan skipper Babar Azam.
“Babar Azam keeping himself in the game at the non-striker’s end…,” Cricket Australia wrote and shared a video of the entertaining episode.
