Srinagar: Afghanistan star cricketer Rahmanullah Gurbaz has termed Pakistan skipper Babar Azam as legend.
Babar Azam and Rahmanullah Gurbaz are both currently playing in Lanka Premier League.
“Yes my brother always talks about Babar with me and he asked that please take one shirt from Babar for me and I said ok, so he loves Babar. My brother plays good cricket, so yeah his favorite player is Babar,” Gurbaz said in a video posted.
“Babar is the most favorite player for the younger stars, especially for me. I like his batting and the way he bats, I can see he’s a legend right now,” he concluded.
Babar plays for Colombo Strikers in the ongoing 2023 Lanka Premier League (LPL). He has emerged as the top run-scorer in the tournament, amassing 235 runs across five matches, boasting an impressive average of 47.00 and a remarkable strike-rate of 143.29.
