After conceding first innings lead in first two matches, J&K U-23 side on Sunday faced a 151-run defeat by the hands of Goa in the ongoing C.K Nayudu Trophy and it’s quite visible that they are missing the experienced players like Auqib Nabi, Muneeb Munaf and Nasir Lone.
Soon after, JKCA announced the U-23 squad, it led to large discussions as the team included some surprising names while missed out on some known faces. Pertinently, they failed to make a impact in the three games so far.
Auqib Nabi who recently had a good stint with senior side in Vijay Hazare Trophy alongside Muneeb Munaf and Nasir Lone, the experienced duo, should be added to the squad, in order to strengthen the team. All of them have played at various levels and proved their worth kn anf off and it’s high time for JKCA to call upon the trio.
