Srinagar: Indian Tennis Superstar Sania Mirza who is wife of Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik shut down a journalist who asked a personal question.
There have been constant rumours surrounding the status of marriage between the two top sports stars. Recently during a media interaction, the journalist asked Sania Mirza how she handles being a mother and a professional athlete at the same time.
In response, Mirza confidently stated that she manages things the same way her husband does.
“Like how he [Shoaib Malik] manages things, I also manage in similar way. If you ask Shoaib Malik the same question, then I will also give you an answer,” Sania said.
Sania Mirza retired from tennis earlier this year, ending her career at Lal Bahadur Stadium, Hyderabad, India, where she first started.
After that she was mentor of the women’s team of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League, helping them handle the pressure of playing at higher level.
Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik tied the knot in April 2010 and welcomed their son, Izhaan, in October 2018.
