Srinagar, May 2: It looked unlikely at first but turned out as true with hundreds of angry Manchester United fans storming into Old Trafford ahead of Clubs match against Liverpool.

Angry fan marched into the Old Trafford to protest against its owners Amrican Glazer family.

Fans have been angry with United owners since the announcement of now breakaway league , European Super League .

Initially Fans before Liverpool match, surrounded The Lowry Hotel, where United stay before home matches, on Sunday, letting off red smoke bombs and leading anti-Glazer chants.

Later demonstration did not end there, with some supporters gaining access to the stadium and then the pitch.

There are reports that some of the broadcasting equipment was damaged by fans while as groundsman are reviewing the pitch damage.

The Glazers, who acquired the club through a leveraged buyout in 2005, have long been unpopular but have become the subject of increased criticism in recent weeks.

Defeat for United against bitter rivals Liverpool on Sunday would see neighbours Manchester City lifting the title.
