Amir Sofi’s heroic last-ball six hands Dadoo Rangers ManzSeer League Trophy

Five needed off the last ball and Amir Sofi did Javed Miandad by hitting a six off Abid Nabi to pilot his team to a heroic title win against Kashmir Knights on Friday in the ManzSeer Premier League.

Rangers were chasing a mammoth total of 256 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Thanks to Amir’s unbeaten 25-ball 46 runs, they crossed the line in a thriller. But a lot of credit goes to Nasir Bashir, who struck 96 off 31 balls, to keep Rangers in the game.

Earlier, batting first, Kashmir Knights put on 255 runs on board. Manzoor Dar struck a fiery 26-ball 83 runs while Abid Nabi also made 72 off 33. For Dadoo, Faisal Dar and Nasir Rasool picked up 2 wickets each.

Amir Sofi was lastly declared as player of the match.
