Akber Khan wins Pahalgam Cyclothon

Srinagar, October 17: J&K’s top cyclist, Akber Khan, Saturday bagged first position in Pahalgam Cyclothon.

Waheed, who fought hard, finished second with same high speed of 60km/h as Akber. Bazil from Ganderbal ended up third.

The Budgam native was rewarded with cash prize of thirty thousand rupees and a medal for winning the race.

Mudasir, owner of Hotel Pine Palace that Akber represents, hailed him for this achievement.
