Srinagar: Pakistan rising star all-rounder Agha Salman has said that he is looking to perform in the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 and World Cup 2023.
During a media talk in Lahore on Tuesday, the 29-year-old revealed his preferred batting partner in the 50-over-format is Mohammad Rizwan
“Most of my partnerships have been with Rizwan in ODIs till now. I enjoy playing with him, and I think we both share the same pattern or style of play. Both of us try to play positive cricket. As of yet, he is my favorite partner so far,” Salman said.
“I am excited, but I do think that you have to deliver your finest performance irrespective of whoever the opponent is. I will try to keep things as simple as possible. I wouldn’t prefer taking any extra pressure, whether it is against India or not,” he further added.
Salman is part of the Asia Cup, which is jointly hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka, starting from August 30.
