Srinagar: After suffering the hectic travel ordeal and spending night at Kolkatta airport , J&K senior women’s cricket team were defeated by Punjab at Agartala on February 20.
Batting first J&K managed to score only 67/7 in allotted 20 overs with highest score being 13 by Nadia Chowdhary. In reply Punjab achieved target for the loss of only 1 wicket. Jasia Akhtar top scored with 32 from 30 balls while as Amarpal Kaur scored 28 from 23.
Pertinently J&K team were made to spend 12 hours at airport and reached Agartala after being in travel for close to 36 hours.
