Abdul Samad inaugurates Kashmiri Pandit Premier League

Jammu, November 15: Abdul Samad alongside a few other dignitaries Sunday inaugurated the Kashmiri Pandit Premier League at M.A Stadium, Jammu.

Samad, who just returned from his Indian Premier League (IPL) gig with Sunrisers Hyderabad, was the special guest at the event while as former Judge and working committee member of JKCA, Jung Bahadur, was chief guest and former BCCI member Ankush Abrol was the guest of honour.

The 19-year-old, as per a report in Daily Excelsior, encouraged youngsters to take sports as career while speaking at the inaugural function.

Samad, second J&K cricketer to play in IPL, played a few impressive outings in the league, earning praise from some of the veteran cricketers including Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh and others.
