Srinagar: In the ongoing A-Division football league two matches were played at Synthetic Turf TRC ground here on Monday.
In the first match of the day, Real Cosmos FC beat Lasjan FC by 3-2 in a closely fought contest.
Umair Zahoor Khan of Real Cosmos FC scored first goal of the match in 21st minute. At halftime score was 1-0 in favour of Real Cosmos FC.
The second half turned out as four goal thriller with Lasjan FC making a stunning comeback but in the end Cosmos FC were able to hold on for a win.
Zahid Ayoob equalised for Lasjan FC in the 36th minute while as Mehfooz gave them lead by scoring second goal in 38th minute. Real Cosmos FC bounced back strongly with Umair Zahoor Khan scoring two more goals to give his team a 3-2 win.
In the second match of the day, Al-Hilal Fc defeated Makhdoomia FC by 5-0 goals. For Al-Hilal, Faisal Mohiuddin scored two goals while as Ubaid Shabir, Maroof and Uzair scored one goal each.
The tournament is organized by DFA Srinagar (JKFA) in collaboration with JKSC.
