In the Aga Syed Mehdi cricket tournament two matches were played at Budgam on Friday.
In the first match, Elegant Strikers defeated Paller-XI. Batting first, Rajori Kadal scored 156 runs for the loss of six wickets in allotted 20 overs. In reply Paller-XI were able to score only 148 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. Umar took three wickets and scored 25 runs. For his all-round performance he was adjudged man of the match.
In the second match, Shahi Hamdan Nowpora-XI defeated Watrawni CC. Shahi Hamdan batting first scored 176 runs for the loss of six wickets in allotted 20 overs. In reply, Watrawni CC were all out for 70 runs in 13.1 overs. Kashif for his 74 run knock was adjudged man of the match.
