Eyeing coaching future, star footballer of Kashmir, Ishfaq Ahmed is undergoing AFC (B) license coaching course at Goa under All India Football Federation (AIFF) Technical Director, Savio Medeira.
Ishfaq is C-License coach and has been player cum assistant coach of Sachin Tendulkar owned Kerala Blaster’s in the India Super League (ISL).
Ishfaq joined course one week ago and will be undergoing training for further two weeks.
I am in that stage of playing career where I had to look for the future. As I was free and the timing of the course also was falling in this gap I joined the course. For becoming coach of any top club you need to have qualification of AFC courses under your belt, Ishfaq said.
