Kashmir University football and volleyball teams have booked their place in the semifinal of the 1st State University Games being held at Jammu. Kashmir University (men) defeated SMVD University Katra by 4-2 goals. Mir Furqan scored hatrick while as Harris scored one goal for Kashmir University.
In the volleyball men event, Kashmir University team defeated Central University Jammu. In the women volleyball event, Kashmir University defeated Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University in straight three sets.
