Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) Amritsar has hailed cyclist Muhammad Akber khan for being conferred State award by J&K Government.
GNDU Director Sports, HS Randhawa while hailing Akber for getting the State award said, “ Akber is talented cyclist who won medals for us in the recently held All-India Inter-University event. He deserves this honor and we are hopeful that he will get many more in future”.
Akbar who plays for TCI Max is pursuing MPed in GNDU Amritsar. He was granted admission by GNDU on sports quota. Cycling coach of University Rajesh Kaushik has also praised Akber for the award.
