JKCA Senior Men’s League: Imtiyaz Ganai takes five-wicket-haul

Left-arm spinner Imtiyaz Ganai on Sunday picked up a five-wicket haul as Team Pink posted a 20-run victory over Team Orange in the ongoing JKCA Senior Men’s League at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium, Srinagar.

Earlier, after winning the toss, Team Orange chose to bowl first. Bowlers have enjoyed bowling on the pitches here and it continued on the same lines in this match as well.

Team Pink could only score 120 runs in 32 overs. Imtiyaz Ganai was the wrecker-in-chief as he scalped a fifer. Skipper Nasir Lone also took 3 wickets.

In reply, Team Orange lost back-to-back wickets and was bundled out on 100 runs, awarding Pink a 20-run win. Auqib Nabi shone with the ball, taking 4 wickets while Yasir also took 3 wickets.

Imityaz has been consistently among wickets and is now the highest wicket-taker of the JKCA Senior Men’s League Srinagar leg now.
