Srinagar: J&K Senior Women’s Cricket Team suffered its fourth crushing defeat in the ongoing Senior Womens T20 Trophy tournament as they were outplayed by Hyderabad at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium on Saturday.
In the match, Hyderabad beat J&K by 49 runs. Batting first, Hyderabad posted 133 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Anitha with 54 and Trisha with 28 were main scorers for them while as Chitra Singh Jamwal took three wickets for J&K.
In reply, J&K batting again failed as they managed to score mere 84 for the loss of six wickets in allotted 20 overs. Shivani Gupta with 33 and Nadia with 11 not out were main scorers for the J&K. Bhogi Shravani took four wickets for Hyderabad.
J&K has played five matches in Group-E and has lost four out of them. They stand at sixth place in the group of 7 teams.
