Srinagar: JK Senior Women’s team won its first ever match at national level as they defeated Chattisgarh in the match of Senior Womens T20 League at Jaipur on Monday.
Chasing a target of 113 runs, JK achieved the target for the loss two wickets.
Batting first Chattisgarh scored 112 runs in allotted overs for the loss of six wickets. Yashi scored 52 for them while as for JK Bushra took two wickets. Sarla Devi and Sandhya took one wicket each.
In batting , Anju scored 67 runs for JK while as Sarla remained not out on 35. It is first time that JK team has registered a win at national level. The team is being coached by Abida Khan and Rubia Sayed is skipper.
