Srinagar: Former Australia legend and mentor for Pakistan team in the T20 World Cup 202, Matthew Hayden has joined Pakistan squad in Brisbane.
The Pakistan squad reached Brisbane from New Zealand for the T20 World Cup.
Babar Azam, who reached Melbourne on Friday and had captains’ day on Saturday, has also joined the team.
Mentor Matthew Hayden, pacer Shaheen Afridi, Fakhar Zaman, and assistant coach Umar Rasheed joined the squad later in the Saturday evening.
Pakistan will play two warm-up games against England and Afghanistan on October 17 and 19 at the Gabba. They will head to Melbourne for their first game of the campaign against arch-rivals India at the MCG on October 23.
