In the ongoing Hajin Premier League, Gazi Sports Vijpara on Tuesday won a thriller against Ziyan Cricket Club by 2 wickets to enter next round of the tournament.
Batting first, Ziyan Club managed to score 129/10 in 19.1 overs. Aqib Parra was the highest scorer with 29 runs to his name while as Riyaz added valuable 23 runs. For Gazi Sports, Javed took 3 while as Waseem and Rizwan scalped 2 wickets each.
In response, Gazi Sports lost 3 quick wickets in the powerplay but eventually managed to cross the line in the 19th over loosing 8 wickets(130/8). Aamir played an unbeaten knock of 39 runs while as Sajad scored 33 runs. Reyaz took 3 wickets for Ziyan Cricket Club.
Rizwan was declared as player of the match for his economical bowling spell while as Aamir got the Game Changer Award for his crucial knock under pressure.
