Srinagar: After a below par season with Royal Challenger’s Bangalore (RCB) last season, star cricketer Parvez Rasool found his name among the players released by the franchisee from the squad for 2017 IPL season.
The list of players retained and released by the IPL franchisee has been made public and among the names released by RCB is Parvez Rasool. The star cricketer of Valley had joined RCB last year on a trade from Sunriser’s Hyderabad. 
However, he couldn’t live upto expectations as in four matches plated he bagged only one wicket and went on to score only 10 runs in four matches played.
However, it may turn out as blessing in disguise for Kashmiri cricketer as this season he again turned out as top all-rounder in Ranji trophy and is now all set to lead J&K in upcoming T20 event.
