Umran Malik running in hard to bowl in the Team India nets is a scene every cricket fan in Jammu and Kashmir had imagined to witness soon after he made his IPL debut.
While many thought it might take some years for the youngster to find a place in the national team, he made sure to make a mark in IPL 2022 and earn himself the maiden call-up to Indian team.
Malik, a Jammu-born cricketer, is currently a part of 18-member Team India squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series against South Afirca.
On Monday, Umran appeared in his first practice session for the national team. He looked a bit wayward at the beginning but managed to hit right areas as the session progressed.
