Hajin, June 5: In the grand finale of the Hajin Cricket Cup, BCC Hajin defeated Green X Ganderbal comfortably by 6 wickets to emerge as champions of the tournament.
Batting first, Ganderbal posted a total of 151/10 on board in 19.4 overs. Farhad Gani was the top scorer with 50 runs to his name. Manzoor Illahi took 3 wickets for BCC Hajin.
In response, BCC Hajin chased down the target comfortably in 18 overs loosing only 4 wickets (152/4 in 18.1 overs). Gowhar played an unbeaten knock of 51 runs while as Manzoor Illahi also added unbeaten 45 runs to his name. Ishfaq took 2 wickets for Ganderbal.
Manzoor Illahi was declared as player of the match for his all-round perfomance while as Simran walked away with the player of the tournament award for his all-round perfomance throughout the tournament.
