Baramulla, February 11: Delina XI on Friday defeated Bombers Cricket Club by 7 runs in a nail-biting encounter to enter the grand finale of the tournament.
After being invited to bat first, Delina only managed to score 57 runs in the allotted 10 overs. Adil Meer top-scored with 15 runs while as Manan took 2 wickets for Bombers Cricket Club.
Chasing the small target, Bombers Cricket Club were jolted by early blows as they eventually got bundled out on 50 runs in 9.3 overs. Rashid to-scored with 26 runs. For Delina XI, Adil Meer took 3 wickets and Zubair took 2 wickets.
Zubair was declared as player of the match for his brilliant last over as he defended 9 runs and took 2 wickets.
Delina XI will now face Sheeri Stars in the grand finale on Sunday at 2:30 PM.
